How to Practice Self Healing..

Energy work & healing works at a deep emotional level to help clear old traumas and blocks that are stopping you from letting go of emotional patterns and holding you back from making the changes you need in your life.

It's easy to practice energy healing on your Self every day - and it's a fabulous way to tune in to your inner wisdom and higher self and rebalance yourself.


Here's a simple and quick practice you can do anytime you need it!

  1. Find a quiet place where you can be at peace and undisturbed for a few minutes. Bring your awareness to your breathing and notice how your body feels right now.

  2. Rub your hands together to stimulate energy and bring your hands together in a prayer position in front of your heart - this neutralises the mind, balances the left and right and right hemispheres of the brain and also the female and male energy.

  3. Take a few relaxing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Relax your shoulders, arms and hands.

  4. Once you feel calm, visualise a bubble of light around you and know that this is your bubble of protection. Make the bubble as big as you want to and fill it with any colour you want - don't overthink it - just chose with the first one that comes to mind.

  5. Stand with your feet at shoulder-width apart, your knees slightly bent, and let your arms hang loosely. Focus on the soles of your feet.

  6. Visualise beautiful strong pink roots growing out from the soles of your feet, pushing down through the ground, down through all the layers of the earth, reaching to the glowing centre of the Earth and wrapping themselves around this centre .

  7. Now visualise the energy of Mother Earth flowing up through the roots, up through the soles of your feet and into your body. Feel the energy mix with yours, grounding you.

  8. Visualise a white beam shining out from the top of your head and reaching up to the Universe above, where it connects with your higher self.

  9. Feel the energy of the Universe joining with your higher self and see it flowing down as a beam of beautiful bright light, through the top of your head and into your body. Let it mix with the energy of Mother Earth.

  10. Focus on your higher self. Now that you have established the connection to your higher self, trust in it to provide you with a fantastic healing session.

  11. Ask your higher self to 'please send healing to my body and mind, for the highest good on all levels of my being'.

  12. Take your awareness back to your body and notice how it feels. Allow your body to be guided by your higher self and just move around in any direction it wants to. Remember to breathe deeply while your doing this - don't hold it or tense up your body. You may want to swing your arms, shake your hands, move your head and neck or sway your body. Just let it happen with no judgement or question.

  13. When the movement slows and settles back to the centre, take a breath and send love and thanks to your higher self. Bring your attention back to your body, and back to your room and your surroundings.

  14. Smile, feel the joy in your heart and know you are amazing!
